We accept garbage, furniture, demolition, appliances, batteries, electronics, fluorescent light bulbs and ballasts, metal, propane tanks, tires, trees and yard waste, and household hazardous waste. These items can be hauled to our office location during our business hours. See below for more information regarding materials that we accept, materials that we cannot accept, and how to reach us. We accept several types of garbage including, but not limited to, household, carpet, treated lumber, plastic, packaging, paper items, cloth items, garden hoses, windshields, and empty paint cans. These items are charged by the loose cubic yard.
The following furniture items are accepted and charged on a per item basis: mattress, box spring, couch, loveseat, and recliner.
Demolition is charged by the loose cubic yard and includes, but is not limited to, shingles, tar paper, doors, windows (no windshields), concrete, brick, wire, cable, bathroom stools and sinks, floor and ceiling tile that does not contain asbestos, siding, sheetrock, metal, PVC pipe, wood (untreated), and insulation.
We accept all appliances for a per unit fee. Examples include: refrigerator, freezer, microwave, stove, washer, dryer, air conditioner unit, water cooler, dishwasher, water heater, and water softener.
We accept all rechargeable batteries for a per item fee. Examples include: lead acid batteries, lithium-ion batteries, and Ni-Cd batteries. We also accept alkaline batteries.
Electronics are accepted for a per item fee. Accepted items include the following: TV, computer hard drive, computer monitor, copier, printer, fax machine, DVD player, VCR player, keyboard, mouse, printer, speaker, and radio.
All fluorescent light bulbs and ballasts are accepted for a per item fee. Fluorescent light bulbs include: 4 foot and under lamp, over 4 foot lamp, compact fluorescent lamp, circular fluorescent lamp, LED lamp, high intensity discharge lamp, and u-shaped lamp.
We accept separated metal materials for a minimal fee.
Propane tanks, including 1 pound cylinders, are accepted for a per item fee.
Tires, with the rim or without the rim, are accepted for a per item fee based on tire size.
We accept trees and brush for a minimal fee. We also accept compost free of charge.
The following household hazardous waste materials are accepted year-round: paint, stain, varnish, aerosol products, garden pesticides, automotive fluids, and household cleaners. There is no charge to dispose of these items.
We are unable to accept any sort of asbestos containing material.
We are unable to accept ashes, regardless of how long they have been cooling.
We cannot accept deer carcasses.
We cannot accept sharps items for disposal.
